When you purchase a pre-order style 50% of the price is payed upon order and the last 50% of the price is automatically deducted from your cart in the month of delivery or as soon as the product is ready to be delivered.
IIII - Waiting game
This depends on the specific style, but usually we kindly ask you to wait for up to 8 weeks. However, some of our pre-order styles, for instance a one-of-a-kind product as well as handspun and handcrafted styles, can take up to as long as 8 months to be produced.
At Proem Parades, we do things a little differently – and intentionally slow.
Our pre-order collections are launched a few times a year and produced in limited quantities using leftover fabrics. This model helps us reduce waste and make thoughtful garments with intention – but still in small batches.

What does it mean when a pre-order item is “closed for pre-order”?
This means that the “window” for placing an order on this specific item is now closed and the style is in production. If you are interested in an item that is closed for pre-order, please contact us on
What if some of my items are pre-order and some items available now?
We will ship out the items in your order that are not a pre-order within 2-3 business days. When the items on pre-order are produced we will ship those out separately.
What is the return policy on pre-order items?

Why do you work with pre-order styles?
It is overall a more ethical choice for us as company. A pre-order model is a way to only produce stock that has already been sold and eliminate waste. We are also driven by not having seasonal deadlines in the same manner as wholesale designers to have time to ensure that the clothes are in the best possible quality.

Our made to order pieces, on the other hand, are one of a kind. Crafted especially for you – in your size, in your chosen colour, often using rare Danish wool – each item is knit or sewn after your request.
